Baudouin Mouanda
Born 1981,Ouésso, Congo, Baudouin Mouanda is a member of the Congolese photography collective called Generation Elili a collective group of artists which help to promote Congolese photography and encourage the local community to participate in their activities.
Mouanda won the Beaute Afrique Award (Union Africaine) in 2011 and
Foot de Rue Canal + Prize in 2010. In 2009 he won the Young Talent Award at Encounters Africa photography in Bamako and the first Prize for
Visa pour la creation, project: Hip Hop et Societe by Culture France. The same year, he was laureate of the Prix de la FondationBlachere. He won the Award for the 5th Francophone Games in Niamey (Niger) in 2005. He was selected three times in international competition for the Paris Match Grand Prix of student photo report- SFR, after being one of thirty selected from over four thousand candidates.
