Alexandra Singer-Bieder & Sofia Bennani
Alexandra Singer Beader (France) met Sofia Bennani (Morocco) during her studies in Paris at the École Spéciale d’Architecture (ESA) where they graduated with a Master in Architecture in June 2013. Surrounded by professional engineers, professional engineers, lighting experts and specialists in robotic they developed together an innovative process currently in a patent filling. The Straw-k process was born in 2012 and gained more importance within the field of interior architecture, furniture design & art. In June 2013, Singer-Bieder and Bennani won a special prize for their architectural installation at the ESA. In 2014 they were awarded with the Young Talent Prize at the Africa Design Award. Their work was exhibited in the USA, France & Morocco.
