Malala Andrialavidrazana engages in multidisciplinary work that explores communication, dialogue, and cultural differences. Through her own archival research and photography, she creates visual compositions that offer alternative perspectives on history. In her ongoing collage series 'Figures' (2015), she recontextualizes symbols of historical conquests, subverting imperialist imagery found in banknotes and atlases to challenge and reshape notions of territory and economic domination.
