Ioana Miller

Miller's current work represents both the versatility of clay and bring to interior space the exterior world of trees and nature with robust fragility.

Each piece is individually made of porcelain or black clay and arranged to capture a feeling of landscape in wall installations and individual pieces.

The individually suspended branches reflect a play of shadows. Miller uses the water drops are a personal interpretation with a shiny glaze in contrast to the roughly matt finished trees.

Working in clay is a transformative process through the use of her hands and the vision in her mind.
